Agreeing delivery terms
The buyer and supplier must agree on shipping responsibilities and delivery terms in the transaction documents.
Using Incoterms
Where Incoterms are used, the parties should identify the specific rule, the applicable edition, and the named place — for example: [Incoterms rule] [named port/place] Incoterms® 2020. The transaction documents should state who is responsible for freight, loading, insurance, export clearance, import clearance, duties, taxes, documentation, and the applicable transfer of risk.
